More than any other game company out there, Nintendo’s advantage has always been its iconic characters and consoles. And more than any other game company, they sure know how to use nostalgia as serious ammo.
This time around, Nintendo of America have announced via Twitter that they will be releasing a mini version of the iconic NES console! Dubbed the ‘NES Classic edition’, this console is a slimmed down version of the 1983 classic.
The console will run on HDMI and will be compatible with Wii classic controllers. Additional NES controllers will cost $10US.
The real kicker here, though, is that the Mini NES will contain 30 games! These include:

- Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest
- Donkey Kong
- Donkey Kong Jr.
- Double Dragon II
- Dr. Mario
- Excitebike
- Final Fantasy

- Kirby’s Adventure
- Mario Bros.

- Metroid
- Ninja Gaiden
- Pac-man
